Tried to go running again went about 1.5 miles and somewhere just above the top of my foot it really started to hurt. I can take pain just like anyone else, but I had to walk the last half mile home. I may have pushed it a little too much Friday running 6 miles. I'm going to lay off a couple of days running and give the nordic track a work out. Walking I have no problem, just when I start running

Sounds like a common but not serious injury. Hope your shins feel better soon.
