4 miles this morning on the road. Extremely foggy which is unusual for the summer here. It was so thick, I think I could actually feel it hitting my face. Temp 72, humidy almost 90%, no wind at all. Not a good combination for running. My pace sucked as I had to take 2 walk breaks for about 1 minute at 3.5 miles.

Halfway back I jumped some wild turkeys that were out in a bean field. They flew right over me, pretty cool.

Off to Memphis tonight and watch a minor league ball game and maybe spend some time at Beale Street.

Wild turkeys in a beanfield? That sounds cool, we don't have that here :-)

That fog sounds great after being out in the blistering sun...

Have fun "walking in Memphis, walking with your feet ten feet off of Beale.... "

We get that thick fog here (and turkeys, too!). I call it swimming in air when I have to run in it. Sounds like you're doing well, post-surgery.
