Did 4 runs up a significant hill this AM per my training schedule. Did'nt push myself too hard, I think last year I strained my calf muscle trying to hard up a hill. Between the warmup, hills, and cool down I did 2 miles

For what it's worth, the last two times I've strained a calf muscle it was on the downhill side. Fortunately those healed very quickly. Take care!
